Bread Machine Anadama Bread
1 Large 1½-pound Loaf
2 teaspoons instant yeast
3 cups bread flour
½ cup yellow cornmeal
3 tablespoons wheat bran (optional)
½ cup plus 2 tablespoons unsulphured molasses
1½ teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1½ cups water
Add all ingredients to the bread machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Process on the normal bread cycle. Cool, slice and serve.
Bread Machine German Pumpernickel
1 Large 1½-pound Loaf
2 teaspoons instant yeast
1 cup plus 3 tablespoons water
1½ cups bread flour
1 cup rye flour
½ cup cracked wheat
½ cup wheat flakes (rolled wheat)
1½ teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup molasses
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
Add all ingredients to the bread machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Process on the normal bread cycle. Cool, slice and serve.
Easy Bread Machine Onion Bread
1 Large 1½-pound Loaf
1½ teaspoons instant yeast
½ cup milk
1 large egg, room temperature
½ cup sour cream
3 cups bread flour
1½ cups butter, melted
3 tablespoons instant onion soup mix
Add all ingredients to
the bread machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Process on
the normal bread cycle. Cool, slice and serve.
